Munich Fashion Award 2018
Munich, Germany, March 2018
„When she accepted her award, she was close to tears. Her collection was as emotional as her reaction.
You could describe her fashion as an organic gothic one. Completely black silhouettes, reminiscent of ice crystals and bird outlines, associate simultaneously to the forms of haute couture and deformed contours of the Japanese fashion designers.
Not commercial, but so outstanding that the jury wanted to highlight it.
Since her graduation, she has represented Germany successfully in Sri Lanka and Portugal and won fashion awards. Behind her collection, there is a criticism of the current fast-fashion system, the violations of environmental protection and labour rights in low-wage countries. That‘s why her creations are all made from environmentally friendly materials and without waste.“
