For the designer Otilia Vlad, clothing is the artistic visualisation of thoughts, values and attitudes.
Not fashion-trends are the focus for her, but the combination of traditional symbols, values and details from all over the world.
She transforms thinking to the body, in terms of
shape and touch, and subtly reveals forgotten techniques on sustainable sculptures.
Otilia Vlad shows fashion as a cultural asset by interweaving fashion with contemporary art. She makes an aesthetic visible in times of the somehow, of everything possible and of searching for values, which finally astonishes again.
